The space itself was modest — two levels separated by a few stairs. What mattered was never the address. What mattered was the chance to make a room that could take people out of their ordinary day the moment they stepped inside.
We saw the possibility of giving each level its own quiet identity, but they had to be glued together. We placed the music at the centre of the space so the energy moves in every direction at once. Right beside it sits the bar. Together they begin the shift — a place to leave the day behind, whether you stay inside or step into the little yard that holds you for a while.
Inside and outside the work continues. Every change is still measured by the same quiet question: does this make the space more alive, more carefully made, and more able to hold people?
A place is what you make it.
We have been making this one since 2018.
